Project objectives:
Long-term unemployed people face special difficulties in re-entering the labour market. This project is designed to integrate unemployed people into the labour market with special consideration of their social and personal circumstances, and to enhance their willingness to work.
Target group:
This measure was designed for unemployed adults older than 25 regardless of their previous education. Special focus was placed on the long-term unemployed (more than 12 months unemployment) who already had qualification related trainings but still did not remain employed.
Project implementation:
The project ‘Phoenix’ can be divided into 3 segments:
- Preparation measures for future employment/li>
- Job search and job placement
- Support measures during employment
Besides offering consultancy, information, and support, bit helped to increase participants’ motivation and mobilization.
The following measures were taken to achieve the project objectives:
- Analysis of the personal and social problems of the target group
- Development of personal and social competencies for handling of conflicts and stress situations
- Developing job search and job application skills
- Planning and preparation of development plans for the participants
Project results
Project Results:
As a consequence of this project, 240 participants were able to compete successfully on the labour market and developed positive attitudes towards their future prospects. Due to its great success, bit is now working on the next Phoenix project.
